At 8.30am- You will be collected by your guide at your accomodation.
Embark on a 25 km journey of discovery along the tranquil waters of the Mekong River as you set sail on a slow boat adventure to Pac Ou Caves, a hidden gem nestled amidst the rugged landscapes of Laos. Drift along the meandering river, passing by villagers working on their farms and water buffalo washing themselves in the river.
Nestled along the banks of the Mekong River, just a short boat ride from Luang Prabang, lies the enchanting Xang Hai Whiskey Village, a hidden gem steeped in centuries-old tradition and craftsmanship. You will disembark and spend some time at the rustic distillery, where large clay pots bubble and steam, transforming humble ingredients into potent elixirs. You can sample and purchase during your visit.
At approx 11am you will arrive at Pak Ou Caves.These caves stand as a testament to centuries of spiritual devotion and natural beauty. Perched high on limestone cliffs overlooking the mighty Mekong River, these sacred caverns have long been a pilgrimage site for devout Buddhists, who come to pay homage to the countless Buddha statues that line their ancient walls.
Approx 1.00pm – return to accomodation.
