Luang Prabang 3 Nights/4 Days Tour

Day 1  Arrive Luang Prabang

On arrival in Luang Prabang your tour guide and driver will collect you from the
International Airport and will accompany you to your hotel. If required, your guide will assist
you with exchanging money once you have settled in your hotel.
At 4:15pm you will visit the famous Phou Si Mountain. This mountain offers a breathtaking
vantage point for witnessing the sunset over this UNESCO-listed city. At dusk, the sky
transforms into a canvas of vibrant hues, casting a magical glow over the Mekong River and
the historic town below. This serene moment atop Phou Si Mountain is an unforgettable
highlight of any visit to Luang Prabang, blending natural beauty with cultural heritage.

At 6:30pm you will attend a Baci Ceremony.
The Baci ceremony is a deeply meaningful ritual that celebrates unity, harmony, and
spiritual well-being in Laotian culture. Held on special occasions such as weddings, births, or
welcoming guests, the ceremony is led by elders who tie white strings (sai sin) around the
wrists of participants while offering blessings and prayers. You will enjoy and learn from this
experience with families.
Following will be dinner with a local family and then your guide will return you to the hotel

Day 2   Luang Prabang Full-Day Tour

At 8:30am you will be collected from your hotel and transported to Xieng Thong Temple
and Royal Palace Museum.The Royal Palace Museum, also known as the National Museum, is located in Luang Prabang
in Laos within what used to be the residence of the Laos Royal family. The former palace has
a symbolically important location between the bottom of Phou Si Hill and the Mekong River.
The Wat Xieng Thong Temple is one of the most impressive of the many temples in Luang
Prabang. It is located in a prime position near the bank of the Mekong river. Xieng Thong
Temple is the oldest intact major religious temple in Luang Prabang.Wat

At 10:30am you will transported to the Kuang Si Waterfall.
Enroute you will visit a Hmong Village where you can experience and learn about the Hmong
culture.
This Hmong Village offers a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of the Hmong
people, known for their vibrant traditions and intricate handicrafts. This village encourages
visitors to immerse themselves in Hmong hospitality, experiencing age-old customs and 
making memorable cultural memories.

The Kuang Si Waterfall, nestled in the lush jungles of Laos, captivates with its tiers of turquoise pools cascading gracefully over limestone cliffs. Surrounded by lush greenery, this natural wonder invites visitors to swim in its refreshing waters and marvel at its beauty, making it a must-see destination for all nature enthusiasts and adventurers. You can purchase lunch at this venue.

Our final stop is visiting the Elephant Camp on route back to the city.

The remains of the day will be spent at your leisure. Your guide will recommend restaurants you can dine at later in the evening. It is also a short stroll to the night markets. Visitors can explore Laotian culture through the eyes of artisans, savoring the flavors and traditions that make these markets a cherished nightly ritual in Luang Prabang.

Day 3 Full Day Luang Prabang Tour

At 8:30am you will be collected from your accommodation and then transported to the Xang Kong Village to see local people making paper by hand. You will have the opportunity to experience paper making and can purchase items at the village.

Next, you will visit the Whiskey Village, which is nestled along the banks of the Mekong River. This traditional village is famed for its production of lao-lao, a potent rice whiskey. Visitors can witness the age-old distillation process firsthand, from fermenting rice to the intricate techniques used in crafting this iconic spirit. Beyond whiskey-making, the village also showcases local handicrafts like woven textiles and handmade pottery, providing a glimpse into rural Laotian life against the backdrop of serene river views.

Lunch can be purchased at the Manivan Restaurant before visiting the Pak Ou Caves.

Nestled within high cliffs, visitors discover the ancient Pac Ou Caves adorned with thousands of Buddha statues, where the tranquility of the place offers a profound glimpse into Laotian Buddhism and history.

You will be returned to your accommodation to refresh for afternoon experiences.

At 4.45pm, embark on an unforgettable evening with a Sunset Cruise and dinner on the Mekong River in Laos. As the sun dips below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the river, savour a delicious dinner featuring local delicacies aboard the boat, accompanied by the gentle lapping of the river and the breathtaking scenery.The slow pace of the cruise allows for moments of reflection and appreciation of the picturesque landscapes. Day 4   Departure Day

At 5.30 am meet your tour guide for an unforgettable Alms Giving Ceremony experience.

Each morning, as the sun rises, saffron-robed monks walk silently through the streets, collecting offerings of sticky rice and candy from devout locals and visitors. This ancient Buddhist tradition not only sustains the monks but also fosters a profound connection between the community and its spiritual practices. At the conclusion of this event, wander through the charming streets of Luang Prabang, where the morning markets come alive with bustling activity.
