8:30am:  Your tour guide will meet you at your accommodation and transport you by tuk-tuk to your cooking destination.

Cooking and Weaving Class:

Embarking on a journey to learn to cook Laotian food in a village is a must-do activity when visiting Laos. One gains not just cooking skills but a profound understanding of the interconnectedness between Laotian cuisine and its cultural tapestry. The lessons unfold in open-air kitchens, where the aromatic symphony of lemongrass, galangal, and fresh herbs permeates the air.  The experience extends beyond the kitchen, as villagers share stories, customs, and the significance of each ingredient, fostering a deep appreciation for the rich culinary heritage of Laos. The culmination of this activity is the opportunity to taste and savour the delicious array of food prepared by you and the villagers.

You will also have the opportunity to learn to weave making an item from bamboo leaves.

1.30pm- You will return by tuk-tuk to your accommodation.
